In the world of marketing – training applies in two areas. One is externally, training on digital marketing, or sales and selling tactics. The other, is internally. Employee motivation, internal selling, and managing employee expectations.

Mendez has provided training for both external and internal companies over the past decade all to companies with 150-500+ employees.

Training

In the banking industry,

Sara met with directors and executives with one of California’s largest financial institutions, talking about the value of living a corporate culture, and how to motivate teams through our own contagious passion and motivation to do great things. Objectives were to motivate leaders to think beyond day to day and empower their teams.

With a heart hospital in California, for three years, the team worked monthly with the executive management within the hospital including the CEO, hospital administrators and directors, all the way down to all 500 employees, creating and implementing a new corporate culture where customer and patient experiences were at the forefront of everything the hospital did. Goals included increased employee motivation, decreased turnover, increased patient satisfaction, and as a result increased brand recognition and word of mouth of patient experiences in market.

In the Oil industry,

Sara and her team met with all 400+ employees, at each oil site, talking about employee requests, concerns, ideas, and development opportunities. As a result, the company received anonymous surveys outlining overall employee satisfaction with the company, areas to improve and areas to expand. The outcome was a partnership the company did with Dave Ramsey – EntreLeadership, where Dave Ramsey, came out and trained the group, and empowered each team member to think differently and empower themselves to push forward in a competitive industry.

Training

In the Travel and Tourism industry,

the team met with more than 400+ employees to get a better understanding of where the poor customer service results were stemming from, and working with management to create a more positive and motivational environment resulting in increased word of mouth and positive feedback through Google my Business, social media sites, consumer sites, all the way down to employee surveys.

In the automotive industry,

the Mendez team has trained sales teams on how media plays a role in sales, and how to better engage customers by incorporating research and consumer behaviors into sales conversations with potential buyers.

Media companies, from television stations to radio companies, have worked with the Mendez team to train their teams to better understand specific industries, and leverage digital media in the ever changing media environment.
